Well this week was once again interupted by Weather.
Tuesday - Thursday, I sent out REMIND reminders about school being closed and notices that I shared some videos from you tube on solving using synthetic division.
If you have not signed up for remind meassages, you still can. Click Here for instructions.
Friday we will continue working on solving polynomials using synthetic division with our warm up. then we will move into solving a system of polynomial equations consisting of a quadratic and a linear equation. We will learn to solve these graphically and algebraically.
You can get a copy of the student note page with practice problems by clicking here.
You can see the key to the notes and the worked out problems by clicking here.

Week of February 23
Monday and Tuesday we will work on solving polynomials using the rational root theorem and synthetic division.
Wednesday we will have a hodge podge of left over items including solving a system of equations algebraicly and graphically, writing equations given roots.
Thursday we will review for the test
Friday we will take the test over the second part of unit 2. remember all tests have a review peice so make sure you have also reviewed the material from the first test in unit 2.

Week of February 16 - warm ups and notes
Monday and Tuesday - we had no school
Wednesday - Friday we worked on the key characteristics of graphs. We used parts of the task that students picked up last thursday after the test. If you need another copy you can Download here.
There is also a power point that you can go through if you need extra practice. Power point on characteristics.
If you were absent or you missed some notes, you can click here to see all the warm ups and notes for all three days.
Friday we did take a quiz. so if you were absent, your test will go in place of the quiz.

Week Feb 2
WOW what a crazy week.
Monday we finished talking about pascal's triangle and began discussing factoring. We talked about Greatest Common Factor (GCF),
First one hundred numbers and all of their factors
Tuesday - Thursday you all worked on practice because of my unexpected absence.
Friday was pep rally day. that did stop us. We continued working on Factoring. We learned to factor trinomials and learned about the special pattern, difference of perfect squares.
